Undergraduate Scholarships

Open to students who hold Conditional or Unconditional Offer for our Foundation programmes for January 2026 intake.

How to Apply

You will be automatically considered for this scholarship when you submit your application and meet the conditions below by December 31st, 2025:

1. Send completed and signed Acceptance Form, which can be found on page 4 of the Offer Letter.

1. Send proof of payment of minimum 25% of the Foundation programme tuition fees (tuition fee deposit*).

Fee reduction scholarship for undergraduate international students, from selected countries/regions, starting an foundation course in January 2026.

Who is eligible?

You will be considered for this scholarship if:

a) you are a national of, or your permanent home address is within, one of the countries/regions listed below.

b) you send a completed and signed Acceptance Form and a proof of payment of minimum 25% of the Foundation programme tuition fee (tuition fee deposit*) by November 30th, 2025.

Eligible countries/regions:

• CIS (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, and other)
• East and Southern Africa (Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and other)
• India
• Latin America (Mexico, Peru, Panama, and other)
• Middle East and North Africa (Egypt, Morocco, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, and other)
• Pakistan
• South East Asia (Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and other)
• Taiwan
• Turkey
• West Africa (Ghana, Nigeria, and other)

Fee reduction scholarship for undergraduate international students, from selected countries/regions, starting the BSc (Hons) degree with a foundation programme in October 2026. 

Who is eligible? 

You will be considered for this scholarship if: 

1. a) you are a national of, or your permanent home address is within, one of the countries/regions listed below.
2. b) you send a completed and signed Acceptance Form and a proof of payment of minimum 25% of the Foundation programme tuition fee (tuition fee deposit*) by March 31st, 2026.

Fee reduction scholarship for undergraduate international students, from selected countries/regions, starting the BSc (Hons) degree  programme in October 2026.

Who is eligible? 

You will be considered for this scholarship if: 

1. a) you are a national of, or your permanent home address is within, one of the countries/regions listed below.
2. b) you send a completed and signed Acceptance Form and a proof of payment of minimum 25% of the Foundation programme tuition fee (tuition fee deposit*) by March 31st, 2026.

Fee reduction scholarship for undergraduate domestic and international fee paying students starting the undergraduate programme in October 2026 from countries/regions not included in the International Regional Scholarship list.

Who is eligible? 

You will be considered for this scholarship if: 

1. a) you are a national of, or your permanent home address is within, a country/region not included  in the International Regional Scholarship list
2. b) you send a completed and signed Acceptance Form and a proof of payment of minimum 25% of the Foundation programme tuition fee (tuition fee deposit*) by April 30th, 2026.

Please note, the number of scholarships is limited, and scholarships will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Lancaster University Leipzig offers Family Scholarships for siblings, spouses or children/parents studying concurrently at Lancaster University Leipzig.

This is an automatic €1,000 reduction of the entry year tuition for each first-degree family member.

Ukrainian nationals applying for undergraduate programmes are eligible for domestic fees throughout the duration of their studies at Lancaster University Leipzig.

The fee reduction can be also combined with other awarded scholarships (more information upon submitting an application) and is applicable to Foundation and Bachelor’s degree entry applications.

Payment of the scholarship

Any awards will be automatically deducted from the second tuition fees invoice, which is issued approx. 8 weeks after the start of the classes.

Please note: Deposit fee payment is calculated based on the full tuition fee (not including granted scholarship).

Any paid deposit is fully refundable until the official enrolment date.
