This website is run by Lancaster University Leipzig. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Some tables may not have table headers which makes it difficult for people using screen readers, this fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships). We aim to train our content team and fix the issue.

Our videos on the website are hosted on YouTube, and Vimeo; but some of these may not have captions. This doesn’t meet WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.2.2 Captions (Pre-recorded).

Some PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen reader software.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

We quarterly conduct comprehensive assessments of the entire website using the third-party tool SiteImprove. SiteImprove enables us to pinpoint non-compliant content and provide us with specific details on fixes.
