Future Student Updates (COVID-19)

LU Leipzig is going online

March 17, 2020

Due to the increased global spread of SARS-CoV-2 (Coronavirus causing COVID-19) and following advice from the Saxonian government, Lancaster University Leipzig has moved to online teaching from the 16th of March until at least the Easter break.

At Lancaster University Leipzig we take the health, safety, and wellbeing of our students seriously, and so we are taking proactive and precautionary steps that includes the suspension of face-to-face teaching. However, technology enables us to continue all classes via online platforms.

We are in routine contact with our students on current governmental guidelines and recommendations to ensure they feel safe in Leipzig.

All personal meetings on campus have been cancelled, but we are happy to provide online advising and assistance to all interested students and applicants. If you have any questions during the quarantine period or would like to schedule an individual call, please feel free to reach out to us at info@lancasterleipzig.de!

The emergency phone number for the students in Leipzig: 0049 173 6720311.

Stay safe!
