Lancaster University invites applications for two positions:  Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) (job ref A3026) and Teaching Fellow (job ref A3027) to join the exciting new Lancaster campus in Leipzig (Germany). The Leipzig campus will offer Lancaster University degree programmes. While based in Leipzig and reporting to the Academic Dean of Lancaster University Leipzig, you will have a close association with the School of Computing and Communications at Lancaster, with opportunities to spend time in Lancaster and interact with colleagues in UK.

The ideal candidate will have completed a PhD and have well-rounded capabilities in teaching, research and engagement. As a part of this exciting new initiative, you will have ample opportunities to support and develop each of these activities from the ground up, starting with an initial focus on academic delivery.  You should be able to deliver excellent teaching at the undergraduate level and pursue your own independent research and develop publications in high quality Computing journals or conferences (Lecturer A3026) or scholarly activities that contribute to the teaching excellence of the institution (Teaching Fellow A3027).

Candidates for the Teaching Fellow role (A3027) will have a suitable track record of undergraduate teaching and/or module design. For the Lecturer role (A3026) you will have a suitable research track record of targeting high quality journals or a record of equivalent high-quality research outputs.    

Although German language skills are not a prerequisite for the role, applicants with an interest in making a long-term commitment to Lancaster University Leipzig are particularly welcome.

You should have a PhD in Computing or closely related discipline, or are expected to complete their PhD in the near future.

Lancaster University invites applications for a Lecturer (Assistant Professor)/Teaching Fellow position in Accounting and Finance, to be based in the University’s brand new campus in Leipzig (Germany). The Leipzig campus will offer Lancaster University degree programmes. While based in Leipzig and reporting to the Dean of Lancaster University Leipzig, the new colleague will have a close association with the Department of Accounting and Finance at Lancaster, with opportunities to spend time in Lancaster and interact with colleagues there.

The ideal candidate will have completed a PhD. Candidates for Lecturer will have a pipeline of research papers suitable for targeting high quality journals or a record of high quality research outputs. For Teaching Fellow, they will have a demonstrated record of undergraduate teaching or/and module design. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have a PhD in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, or are expected to complete their PhD in the near future.
