Future Student Updates (COVID-19)

Submitting your Application

Step 1: Complete the Online Application Form

Submit your application on our website along with supporting documents - including your academic qualifications and English test results, if available (certified translations must accompany documents that are not in English). Applications can still be completed even if all necessary documentation is not available yet.

Step 2: Receive Offer of Admission

We will review your application and confirm receipt within 48 hours.

If a positive decision is made on your application, you will receive an unconditional or a conditional offer. If your offer is 'conditional', your place on the course is reserved, subject to providing additional documents (e.g. Final Transcript & English language qualification).

Step 3: Accepting your Offer

To accept your offer, you will need to pay 50% of your course fees. Payment details are stated on your offer letter.

Deposit:           €4,500 (EU)

                        €7,500 (International, Non-EU)

Step 4: Plan your Visa Application

If you come from outside of the EU/EEA, you might need a student visa to study in Germany. Since the student visa application process can take up to several months, we strongly recommend that you book your visa appointment as soon as you accept your offer of admission. Please check our 'Visa Process' page for further guidance.

Step 5: Arrange Student Accommodation in Leipzig

Step 6: Arrive in Germany

Lancaster University Leipzig can help arrange transfer from the airport to your accommodation and will provide a full orientation prior to enrolment.
